Thank you to Rachael King and the wonderful WORD team for hosting the launch of this beautiful book. The event began with a welcome by Corban Te Aika, cultural advisor in the Office of the Assistant Vice-Chancellor Māori, Pacific and Equity at UC.
Editor Paula Morris spoke about the making of the book, as did OUP publisher Rachel Scott. Art Editor David Eggleton spoke about the artistic expressions of the book. Hanif Quazi delivered a moving speech about the Muslim community in Christchurch.
